The Strand is an award-winning community in North Naples, Florida between U.S. 41 and Interstate-75. The nearly 600-acre community has won the Collier County Building Industry Association’s “Community of the Year” award for the past two years. The main community features are the 27-hole championship golf course and botanical gardens.

The Strand features eight Har-Tru tennis courts, a junior olympic swimming pool, basketball and bocce ball courts.

  • A pro shop
  • Dining rooms
  • Grand ballroom
  • Board room
  • Multi-media center
  • Locker rooms
  • Offices
  • Meeting rooms

The Grille Room:

Experience a romantic candlelit dinner with sparkling chandeliers and white linen tablecloths. Dinner services are on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Friday evenings and breakfast is available on Sunday mornings. Or  step out onto the veranda overlooking the Botanical Gardens if you prefer to dine al fresco.

Golf

The Savannah and Sabal courses hosted the LPGA Subaru of Naples Invitational from 1998-2000. The 18-hole courses offer six sets of tees to accommodate all levels of playability.  For the ladies, the gold tees are a nice challenge for lower handicap players and the red tees shorten things up a bit to allow the mid-to-high handicappers to avoid some of the longer carries.  For the men, the black tees are usually enough, even for a scratch player.  The black tees stretch out to almost 7,300 yards.  And the white tees measure about 5,700 yards.
